We are excited to welcome Wind Energy to the Garden again this year for our Summer Concert series. Wind Energy is a woodwind quintet led by oboist Michael Kibbe featuring Jill Petricca (flute and piccolo), Paul Cummings (clarinet), Aaron Lopez (bassoon) and Anwyn Halliday (horn). They will play classical, modern and jazz works. Bring your family and a picnic and come enjoy the Garden in a whole new way.
The Garden opens at 10 a.m., the music begins at 1 o’clock. These concerts are held the first and third Sunday through August and are a wonderful opportunity to experience the Garden in a new way. Bring your family, a picnic lunch and lounge on the lawn and take in the sounds of local bands before touring the Garden or the Butterfly House.
This activity is FREE to HBG members, General admission for non-members. Children under 6 and active military are free. PLEASE NOTE: We ask that you keep your four legged friends at home. Non-service dogs are not allowed in the Garden during specials events.
