Join Bernadette Clueit for a presentation on straw bale vegetable gardening. Straw bale gardening can be a successful substitute for raised beds, containers and can be an effective way to have a garden in poor or no soil situations. This very informative presentation will show you the many advantages of this method.

About our Speaker

Bernadette Clueit is a Humboldt County Master Gardener and has been growing organically for over 30 years. She is a wildlife biologist/botanist with a background in conservation and ecology.  Bernadette loves teaching workshops and getting people excited to try out new things and techniques in the garden.

Programs are FREE for members & children 10 and under • General Garden admission for non-members
