National Pollinator Week is June 18th through 24th

Join us at the Garden as we celebrate pollinator week.  Observe the many pollinators that make the Garden their home and learn about what you can do to help pollinators in your community.

Here are some ways that you can get involved 

• Help The Pollinator Partnership by gathering some data. Ask our gate host for a Pollinator Observation Chart and tally the number of pollinators you observe during your visit to the Garden. 
• Purchase pollinator-attracting plants available in the Sun Valley Floral Farms Greenhouse
• Spread the word... post your pictures of pollinators in action on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter #‎PollinatorWeek #‎HumboldtBotanicalGardens 
• Grab some pollinator information from the gate host and start the conversation about what you and your family can do to help pollinators!
• Visit www.pollinator.org for more information and resources.

National Pollinator Week is a time to celebrate pollinators and spread the word about what you can do to protect them Eleven years ago the U.S. Senate’s unanimous approval and designation of a week in June as “National Pollinator Week” marked a necessary step toward addressing the urgent issue of declining pollinator populations. Pollinator Week has now grown into an international celebration of the valuable ecosystem services provided by bees, birds, butterflies, bats and beetles. The Pollinator Partnership is proud to announce that June 18-24, 2018 has been designated National Pollinator Week.
