August 16th - Free Admission 

Beginning Thursday August 16th and continuing on the third Thursday of each month until the end of the year, Humboldt Botanical Garden is pleased to announce Free Admission for all visitors.  We encourage you to bring your family and enjoy all the sights that the Garden has to offer.    

This month we have several gardens currently in bloom:

Lost Coast Brewery Native Plant Garden

Moss Family Temperate Woodland Garden

Dr. Stan Baird Rose Garden

Betty Kuhnel Heather Garden

And of course, come walk through Peter Santino's "All Happy Now" the meditative earth sculpture that doubles as a work of art and as an interactive walking labyrinth.  

Stop by and visit the Butterfly House.  Home to several of the native species of butterfly found around Humboldt County, such as painted ladies, red admirals, western swallowtails, and of course the monarch.  Free admission to the Garden every third Thursday through the end of the year.

Winter Hours: Wed - Sat 10 A.M. to 3 P.M, Sun: 11 A.M to 4 P.M.

Please do note that there are no dogs allowed in the greenhouse.
